About the role

Responsible for managing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and adherence to health and safety standards. Oversee staff training and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff.
  • Manage inventory levels and ordering supplies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen setting.
  • Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Experience with menu development and cost control.
