About the role

You keep us looking our best—sparkly, clean, and bright. As part of our team, you ensure every aspect of our restaurants meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, both inside and out.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Wash and provide clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies.
• Clean and sanitize throughout the shift.
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness: sweep, mop, remove debris from floors, etc.
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, and beautification tasks.
• Prepare and maintain the dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing.
• Support fellow employees as needed.
• Complete and pass the food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.

Requirements

• Able to physically stand/walk 100% of the shift.
• Can reach, bend, and stoop.
• Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift and lift heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Work in a damp, high-temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans, and sharp knives/utensils.

Schedule

Five (5) day work week, with two (2) consecutive days off.
