The Cocktail Server exemplifies excellent service and creates a positive atmosphere in our dining locations, requiring thorough product knowledge (food, wine, and liquor), competence in service procedures, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. This position reports to the Senior Restaurant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure friendly greeting to all guests while adhering to established procedures and standards
- Demonstrate proficiency in all bar menus and describe menu items to guests as needed
- Responsible for bank management, including safe return and deposit
- Maintain adequate working knowledge of the Point-of-Sale System
- Secure payment from guests and account for all transactions
- Clear, clean, and reset the bar during service
- Perform proper opening and closing procedures for the bar
- Communicate guest comments and complaints to managers
- Familiarize yourself with Colorado liquor laws
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by the manager
- Assist other departments based on business volumes and staffing levels
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of serving or bartending experience required
- 1 year of advanced beverage knowledge preferred

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk, or remain on your feet for extended periods
- Regularly work in wet, hot, and humid conditions for extended periods
- May be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
