Cocess Store Manager

About the role

At Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IBVI), you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission to create meaningful employment opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired. As a COCESS Store Manager, you’ll lead the operations of a Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Supply Store (COCESS) at Hanscom AFB.

Responsibilities

• Manage COCESS to include sales, operations and Contract requirements.
• Source and price materials across multiple civil engineering trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Create and manage product entries, quotes, and purchase orders in our system.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and fulfill requisitions in a timely manner.
• Track government spending and billing across multiple accounts, and ensure compliance with COCESS contract requirements, reporting, and billing deadlines.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in government or retail operations, possess strong leadership skills and be customer focused.
• Must have valid driver’s license, current Real Act compliant ID and ability to pass Federal criminal background check requirements to obtain a CAC (Common Access Card).
• Strong product knowledge and sourcing skills, purchasing experience, and familiarity with commodities across multiple trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction).
• Solid project management and time management skills in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in Excel and database systems, and excellent typing and computer skills.
