About the role
This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the hatchery and for washing chick boxes. Others duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and sanitizes the hatchery with a pressure washer (55%).
- Places approximately 1,500 chick boxes weighing an average of 2 pounds into washer to be washed and sanitized (25%).
- Washes and sanitizes the dirty side box room with a pressure washer (5%).
- Cleans rooftop units (5%).
- Pulling empty farm and setter buggies to the Egg Room and washing and sanitizing the pull room with a pressure washer and reads setters. (10%).
Requirements
- Previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.
- Reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.
- Must have at least six consecutive months of work experience with the same employer and no additional gaps in employment greater than six months with the last 36 months.
- If applicant was laid-off, providing eldercare or childcare, the six month gap will be increased to 18 months.
- Previous work history criteria will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
Qualifications
Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview. Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.

Pay
Starting wage - $17.00 per hour plus additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends.
Schedule
Work schedule is subject to production needs.
