Responsibilities As a Coax Splicer Trainee, you will develop new skills, work in a safe-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. In Addition, You Will Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity Utilize RF Meters and TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometers) Read CATV telecommunication design and prints Work in outdoor utility construction sites Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You have experience in CATV installation or other telecom experience You are comfortable working on a ladder or bucket truck You are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtime You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes (Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record) MOS Codes B05A, 3D157, 6423, B05A, and 5699 relate well to this position. Compensation of $21-$22 per hour. Hard work pays off.
