Responsibilities
- Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable
- Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity
- Utilize RF Meters and TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometers)
- Read CATV telecommunication design and prints
- Work in outdoor utility construction sites
Qualifications
- About You:
- Safety is a part of your day-to-day
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
- You are looking for long-term projects
- You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
- You have experience in CATV installation or other telecom experience
- You are comfortable working on a ladder or bucket truck
- You are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtime
- You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes (Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)
