Responsibilities

• Develop new skills and work in a safety-minded environment
• Part of a team of construction professionals producing high-quality work
• Use specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more
• Upgrade the existing plant, plant extensions, and new building construction
• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity
• Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers)
• Read the CATV telecommunication design and prints
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites

Qualifications

• Lifetime of safety as a value
• At least 1-3 years of splicing and sweeping experience
• Comfortable working on a ladder or a bucket truck
• A knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoying a hands-on approach to work
• A track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• Flexible and enjoys a variety of shifts with overtime
• A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes (Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)

$24-$32 per hour
