Coax Splicer
Responsibilities
- Develop new skills and work in a safety-minded environment.
- Join a team of construction professionals producing high-quality work.
- Use specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more.
- Upgrade existing plant, plant extensions, and new building construction.
- Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable.
- Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity.
- Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers).
- Read CATV telecommunication design and prints.
- Work in outdoor utility construction sites.
Qualifications
- Lifetime of safety as a value.
- At least 1-3 years of splicing and sweeping experience.
- Comfortable working on ladders or bucket trucks.
- A knack for solving complex problems and enjoying hands-on work.
- A history of delivering high-quality work.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including overtime.
- A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT Med card.
Pay
Compensation: $20.00 to $30.00 depending on experience.
