Coax Splicer
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality splicing, activation, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Upgrade existing plant, extend plant installations, and construct new buildings.
- Optimize new nodes and splice in node splits to enhance network capacity.
- Utilize RF meters and TDRs to ensure accurate and efficient work.
- Read and interpret CATV telecommunications design and prints.
- Work in various outdoor utility construction sites, including ladder and bucket truck operations.
Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years of splicing and sweeping experience.
- Comfortable working on ladders or bucket trucks.
- A strong ability to solve complex problems and a hands-on approach to work.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime.
