Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality construction work using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more.
• Update existing plant, extend plant, and build new facilities.
• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground cables.
• Optimize new nodes and splice node splits to reduce capacity.
• Use RF meters and time-domain reflectometers (TDR).
• Read CATV telecom designs and blueprints.
• Work at outdoor utility construction sites.

Qualifications

• Safety is a guiding value in your life.
• At least 1–3 years of splicing and sweeping experience.
• Comfortable working on ladders or in a bucket truck.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Proven track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Flexible and willing to work varied shifts, including overtime.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card for driving (subject to MVR review and company safe-driving standards).

Pay

$70,000–$95,000 annually.
