What You'll Do

  • Operate and monitor coating line systems (gas, power, vacuum, and drive systems)
  • Adjust process settings to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Perform equipment checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting
  • Use computers to track production data and maintain records
  • Follow safety and quality standards
  • Work with your team to support production goals

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or mechanical experience
  • Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with equipment and technology

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with vacuum systems or process control
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
  • Experience troubleshooting production equipment

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced work with moving equipment
  • Noise and varying temperatures
  • Physically active role (standing, walking, lifting)

Language

  • The position routinely requires verbal and written communication in English in order to complete the daily business requirements.
  • Verbal communications include, but are not limited to: team meetings to discuss daily department requirements, work instructions to team members, presentations to management or customers, project meetings with peers and management, communications with peers and management, and safety instructions and training.
  • Written communications include, but are not limited to: department paperwork, projects updates, safety walkthroughs, purchase orders, continuous improvement projects, and communications with peers, customers, and management.

About the Role

This role operates and monitors coating line systems, performs equipment checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting, and follows safety and quality standards. It also involves working with a team to support production goals.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay

$22.50/hour
