Coating Operator

Responsibilities

As a Coating Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensure the efficient setup and production of quality material on their assigned coating line
• Coordinate job changeovers, monitor the master control panel, and accurately record and enter production data, including test results
• Provide guidance and instruction to personnel on the line as needed
• Complete accurately and in a timely manner, all required production reports and quality data entries utilizing PMCS/OPRA and designated software
• Review Manufacturing Order schedule and prepare/plan for upcoming production runs
• Lead and coordinate production runs to meet targets based on job specifications and work instructions
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Maintain housekeeping at machine areas according to established standards
• Master all controls and consoles related to the whole operation on the line
• Be proficient in web handling and alignment, coat weight variables, tension control, all coating methods, NDC scanners, web drying settings, and safety controls
• Monitor and document productivity results as well as reason for misses utilizing designated tools

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher completed and verified prior to start
• Minimum one (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $26.10 per hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. Schedule

• Weekend Day Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekend Night Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
