About the role

Responsible for the safe and environmentally compliant industrial manufacturing operation of all equipment, control systems, associated auxiliaries, and environmental compliance in an assigned manufacturing operation. Must have the ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and a reasonable level of scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Responsibilities

• Support sheet coating operations by handling and loading product in our automated process
• Perform repetitive tasks in a consistent and reliable fashion, minimizing damage to high-quality products
• Utilize Powered Industrial equipment to move raw materials and finished product around the facility
• Continually maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support coating process operators to optimize workflows and productivity
• Develop process knowledge and familiarity
• Obtain respirator certification
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment/tools

Requirements

• High School Diploma, High School Job Readiness Certification, or equivalent educational diploma
• Six months of consistent work experience (manufacturing or extrusion experience a plus)
• Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the position
• Must be 18 years or older
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work for POLYVANTIS in the United States on a full-time basis
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry up to 55 lbs
• Bend, stoop, twist, crouch, kneel
• Climb and balance
• Use vibrating tools
• Stand and walk for extended periods

Schedule

Position will initially work a 5-day (Monday–Friday), 8-hour schedule with evenings or midnights likely. Eventual rotating shift start times are: 7:40 am, 3:40 pm, and 11:40 pm. Role may convert to a rotating 8-hour, 24/7 schedule.

Pay

Hourly rate: $23. Shift premium (if applicable): 15% for evenings, midnights, and weekends.
