Coating and Print Operator - 5th Shift PA2

About the role

This position will be responsible for operating the Paint and Print machine for Power Tool Accessories. This operation will include loading and unloading the machine, ensuring the correct order is being fulfilled, making machine parameter adjustments, identifying and assessing problems with the machine, and maintaining quality standards of the product.

Responsibilities

• Setup machine
• Transfer and load files
• Mix and load paint
• Clean and maintain machine
• Identify and assess problems with machine
• Maintain quality standards of the product
• Frequent mobility throughout different sections of the machine
• Understand mechanics and machine components
• General computer knowledge, and the ability to learn new software programs
• Maintain a positive work environment and follow appropriate safety procedures
• Understand proper product flow on machine
• Read and follow standard operating procedures pertaining to the painting and printing of Power Tool Accessories
• Understand and follow procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization
• Read and fulfill correct orders
• Inspect product for quality standards
• Understand root causes of quality issues

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
• Ability to stand and be mobile for 8 hours
• Proper hand dexterity
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Ability to read and prepare orders
• High understanding of machines and components
• Computer and Software navigation ability
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to lift (up to) 40 lbs.
