2nd Shift - Coating Operator

About the Role

Want to build a career in specialized optical manufacturing? We are looking for a hands-on Coating Technician to join our 2nd shift team in Irvine. No prior coating experience required! If you are mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, and looking to break into high-tech manufacturing, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and assist in dip coating and AR (Anti-Reflective) coating processes for optical lenses.
• Help clean, maintain, and dismantle chamber tooling to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Measure coating solutions and accurately log production data into software.
• Inspect lenses and unload parts for Quality Control (QC).

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn technical processes.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable on a 2nd shift schedule (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM).

Pay

$18.75 / hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Overtime available Saturdays)
