Coater Technician

About the role

Solventum is a new healthcare company dedicated to improving lives through innovative solutions. We are seeking Coater Technician candidates for our team in Columbia, MO.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on chemical, electronic, industrial, hydraulics, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance (PM's) duties.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of chemical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert on setup, running, and maintenance of coater processes.
• Absorb process documentation and utilize it at all times.
• Lead operators in the analysis of potential failures.
• Participate in continuous training and follow safety guidelines.
• Perform operator duties as required.
• Identify improvement opportunities and initiate implementation.

Requirements

• 1 year of industrial maintenance/electronic/electrical experience OR Possess a 2–4-year technical degree in maintenance technology OR 1-year recent vapor coating experience.
• Ability to work overtime, weekend, or holidays as needed.
• Full-Time, Overnight shift (12-Hour Rotating Shifts 7:30pm – 7:30am, every other weekend).
• Work location: Onsite - 5400 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202.
• No travel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Qualifications

• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Skills

• Ability to work overtime, weekend, or holidays as needed.
• Ability to work a Full-Time, Overnight shift (12-Hour Rotating Shifts 7:30pm – 7:30am, every other weekend).
