Coater Technician

Main Responsibilities

• Cleans, inspects and measures more advanced/complex substrates to ensure quality.
• Packages optical components.
• Sets up tooling.
• Loads parts into chambers.
• Starts coating runs.
• May perform tooling fit checks/reviews.
• Able to read and comprehend prints for determining specs on surface quality, substrate dimensions, arrow marking for side one and side two, packaging requirements.
• Understands non-conforming material and how to scrap material.
• Inspection of normal product.
• Trained on ISO / mil / final inspection.
• Raising tech issues with tooling, specs, process sheets, etc.
• Understanding defect types.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a process manufacturing environment is desired.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.00- $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
