CoastalLIFE Live-In Peer Support

About the role

This live-in position requires you to reside on campus in a space provided through your employment with the LIFE program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a supportive and unrestricted living environment
• Model daily living skills such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, organization, adaptability, and time management
• Facilitate weekly suite meetings and build positive relationships with residents
• Assist with transportation and daily routines as appropriate
• Support social skill development and conflict resolution
• Respond appropriately to student concerns or crises and follow reporting procedures
• Collaborate with CoastalLIFE staff and attend required trainings
• Uphold university and program policies, professionalism, and confidentiality

Requirements

• Will be a full-time CCU student in the FA26 academic year
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
• Successful completion of a criminal background check
• Resume (required document)
• CPR/First Aid Certificates (optional document)

• Good judgement, commitment, self-discipline, maturity, self-awareness, energy
• Knowledge of the campus and its resources
• Sensitivity to cultural diversity and common sense

Schedule

• 20 hours per week
• Normal work days and hours vary
