Coast Guard property logistic specialist (must be US citizen)

Responsibilities

• Meet/coordinate with customer at Property Management for US Coast Guard and logistic.
• Verifications by cage code/Loan Updates For upcoming contract close-outs/For APO reconciliation process.
• Avoid unnecessary delays by efficiently preparing and completing all necessary disposal tags and documents to ensure timely disposal.
• Assist with updating work processes and procedures i.e., flow charts, PowerPoint slides.
• Schedule turn-in appointment for property in possession, 1-2 days before contract end date.
• Cookware warehouse for processing. Includes providing instructions and shipping information.
• As applicable, perform any sanitization of storage media or hard drives, remove hard drive of property items to be turned in for disposal to DLA-DS or other disposal sites, and prepare and sign document verifying sanitization of media.
