Coaching Positions - Ice Hockey Site Managers - High School North and High School South

About the role

Ice Hockey Site Manager positions (4 total, two per high school) for the 2026-2027 school year within Middletown Township School District.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage student academic and behavioral support.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, equipment, and materials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the technical aspects of ice hockey, including the latest training and conditioning techniques to ensure student‑athlete safety.
• Prepare high school student athletes for college‑level competition.
• Assist in college searches and provide recommendations for qualified student athletes.

Qualifications

• Minimum certification: Substitute Teacher.
• Coaching experience required.
• Head coach roles: at least 5 years of successful coaching experience in ice hockey.
• Assistant coach roles: successful coaching experience preferred.
• Full‑time teaching assignment in Middletown Township Public Schools preferred.
• Ability to manage sports‑related administrative tasks (scheduling, budgeting, equipment).
• Knowledge of sport technical aspects and conditioning techniques.
• Understanding of the process to prepare athletes for college competition and ability to assist with college searches.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.

Pay

Stipend: $155 per game.
