About the role

The BSN SPORTS Production/Warehouse team is looking for a team-oriented, high-energy Coach in Dallas, TX. As a Coach on the Production/Warehouse team, you will be a critical role responsible for providing training to team members and validating understanding of concepts to ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the processes in your home department.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
• Champion the department’s SOPs
• Responsible for all new hire training, documenting training, and completion of training documents
• Train team members to advance levels (entry to experienced, experienced to expert)
• Partner with Supervisors and Managers to provide objective feedback on trainee’s progression
• Discuss daily expectations with Supervisor/Team Lead after observing productivity and quality results from the prior day and prioritize any team members who need assistance
• Partner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourage team members to provide suggestions
• Work with the CI Team to be the process expert/SME on all processes in the department for areas of improvement
• Cross-train team members from other areas to ensure a flexible team
• May act as an Operator to help meet business needs

Skills and qualifications

• Ability to flex training method and style to accommodate different learning types and speeds
• Ability to objectively assess trainee’s skillset and progress
• Internal candidates must have achieved an Experienced level in their role for at least two consecutive calendar quarters and be in good standing (has met all prerequisites on most recent progression evaluation)
• Bilingual is a plus

Physical requirements

• Stand for long periods of time
• Perform repetitive movements on a regular basis
• Lift no less than 15–35 lbs. on a regular basis
• Tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment
