About the role

The Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach will support the head coach in developing and implementing the wrestling program at Nature Coast Technical High School.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of the wrestling practice schedule
• Provide support to the head coach during practices and competitions
• Work with students to develop skills and strategies for competition
• Attend team meetings and events as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Florida Educator's Certificate in any subject*
• First aid training concepts, injury prevention, CPR
• Willingness to devote time before and after school hours
• *Cheerleading coaches of non-competitive teams are not Required to hold a Florida Educator's Certificate.
• Must have Hernando County School District required 20 hour Sports First Aid course offered through Human Kinetics. Please Follow (or paste in browser) link below:
