Minimum Requirements
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certificate (at employee's expense)
- Concussion in Sports Course
- Student-Athlete Health & Wellness certificate (must review PowerPoint and sign a document affirming PowerPoint has been reviewed)
- ATC
- Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Course
- CPR w/AED
- First Aid
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Bloodborne pathogen training after hire by TUSD Risk Management Department
- MMR immunization or proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles)
Requirements
- Proof of prior employment with Tucson Unified School District
Qualifications
Exercise patience, tolerance, and diplomacy in relations with all players, parents, co-workers, contest officials, and spectators.
Skills
Must be able to supervise students in practice areas, locker rooms, busses, and at all times during the season.

Season Dates - 11/02/2026 to 03/01/2027
Winter - November into February
Stipend $2,000
This position is temporary and not eligible for district benefits.
