Essential Functions
- Teach and coach students at the highest level that can be attained.
- Work closely with the head coach to enforce discipline and sportsmanship.
- Organize and supervise the sports program.
- Comply with safety practices and district rules, regulations, and policies.
Skills/Qualifications
- Valid Missouri teacher certificate.
- Employment as a teacher in the Jefferson City School District.
- Previous coaching experience in assigned sport, preferred.
Miscellaneous Requirements
- Clearances required; results must be satisfactory to the District.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
- Significant fine finger dexterity.
- Performance in physical situations including weather or surface related areas.
- Working on game plans or other related tasks.
