About the role

Apple Montessori Schools is a modern Montessori school where children develop their best selves in preparation for their best lives. As a Co-Teacher for the Toddler program in Hoboken (Maxwell Lane), NJ, you will collaborate with the Head Teacher and teaching staff to create a safe, enjoyable, and enriching learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all students enjoy a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Head Teacher on curriculum, lesson planning, and parent communication.
• Work closely with students to foster individual success plans and maintain accurate records.
• Demonstrate Montessori materials and philosophy effectively.
• Plan school events and prepare curriculum with the teaching team.
• Participate in staff development activities, educational trainings, and mentorship programs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or AA in a similar field with required credits or CDA.
• Montessori experience (preferred).
• NAMC certification (preferred or willing to obtain within the first year of employment).
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask and function in an ever-changing environment.

Pay

$36,000 - $43,000 / year. Final compensation is determined based on experience, certifications, and school location.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
