About This Role
A co-teacher is responsible for the care of and well-being of 16 children ages 2-5. Co-teachers are paired with another co-teacher making our highest ratio 1:8.
What You'll Do
- Lesson planning
- Conducting meaningful interactions with the children
- Classroom management
- Keeping a tidy classroom
- Communicating with families
- Ensuring the safety of all children
- Helping to create a positive and happy environment
Requirements
- Eighteen years of age
- High school degree
- Experience preferred but not mandatory
Nice To Haves
- CDA in early childhood education
- Associates in early childhood education
- Bachelor's in early childhood education
- CPR/First Aid certification
