Responsibilities

• Receive a project charter and description during onboarding
• Deliver key project outcomes in the assigned area by the end of the co-op assignment
• Define and document process parameters
• Support design efforts for product development
• Quantify and lead actions needed for scrap reduction
• Improve effectiveness and efficiency of key machinery in high-volume work areas
• Learn, understand, and adhere to current Quality Policy and Procedures
• Contribute to the achievement of quality objectives
• Gain insights into Schaeffler’s manufacturing, design, and technological processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Currently pursuing an academic degree
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
• Authorization to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication ability
• Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results
• Assertive approach to solving problems
• Ability to prioritize tasks according to given requirements

Pay

Hourly rate is dependent on academic standing.
