Responsibilities
- Receive a project charter and description during onboarding
- Deliver key project outcomes in the assigned area by the end of the co-op assignment
- Define and document process parameters
- Support design efforts for product development
- Quantify and lead actions needed for scrap reduction
- Improve effectiveness and efficiency of key machinery in high-volume work areas
- Learn, understand, and adhere to current Quality Policy and Procedures
- Contribute to the achievement of quality objectives
- Gain insights into Schaeffler’s manufacturing, design, and technological processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently pursuing an academic degree
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
- Authorization to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability
- Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results
- Assertive approach to solving problems
- Ability to prioritize tasks according to given requirements

Pay
Hourly rate is dependent on academic standing.
