About the role
The successful co-op student will be provided with a project charter and description during their onboarding process. The co-op will provide key deliverables in their assigned area at the end of their co-op assignment. Project examples can include but are not limited to:
- Define and document process parameters
- Support design efforts for product development
- Quantify and lead actions needed for scrap reduction
- Improve effectiveness and efficiency of key machinery in high volume work areas
- Learn, understand, and adhere to the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to the achievement of quality objectives
- Get insights into Schaeffler's manufacturing, design and technological processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be pursuing an academic degree
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
- Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
- Assertive approach to solving problems
- Ability to prioritize according to given tasks

Pay
Hourly rate is dependent on academic standing.
