Co-op Placements/Internships

About the role

The Hamilton Police Service offers co-op placements and internships for high school students and those pursuing post-secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Apply for job descriptions sent by the Hamilton-Wentworth and Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Boards.
• Short-listed students participate in panel interviews with members of relevant areas such as Use of Force.
• Successful candidates must pass a security clearance.
• Placements are from September to January or February to June.
• We also consider students from other secondary schools in the City of Hamilton.

Requirements

All placements and expressions of interest must be made through High School Co-op Departments.
