Key Responsibilities
- Perform design and drawing updates to support engineering activities
- Collaborate to develop design solutions to technical challenges with other mechanical team members (engineers, designers, technicians, etc.)
- Support design efforts through modeling, prototyping, drawing release, and into production
- Support the project team with the testing of products
- Troubleshoot problems and participate in root cause investigations
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated ability with 3D Modeling (Creo 7.0 is preferred)
- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new applications
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible team player who is organized, dependable, and proactive
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Background
- Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent
- First time Co-ops as well as candidates with experience will be considered
