CO-OP - Manufacturing Engineer
About the role
Price Industries Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering CO-OP for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Winder, GA. This position will work alongside our Manufacturing Engineers to drive operational improvements in the Winder, GA plant. The successful candidate will demonstrate energetic problem-solving skills and an exceptional desire to learn, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive integration with new factory floor Simulation systems (FlexSim) to enhance predictability for Operations
- Upgrade machinery equipment by designing and fabricating prototype jigs and fixtures using 3D printers
- Enhance written process documentation, focusing on photo-based work instructions
- Support the Industrial Engineering team with larger projects such as equipment installations
Requirements
- Minimum 3rd semester Engineering student seeking an Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering degree
