Responsibilities
- Assist with process optimization and efficiency improvements on the production floor.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to production metrics and key performance indicators.
- Aid in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects, including identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on various assignments.
- Document processes, procedures, and project progress.
- Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives within the manufacturing facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department objectives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting or with lean principles is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
