Major Responsibilities
- Execute and participate in data collection studies.
- Perform data analysis using statistical tools and methodologies.
- Utilize industrial engineering and business analytics tools (e.g., probability and statistics, process flow analysis, queuing theory, data visualization / dashboarding, etc.) as appropriate to improve operational efficiency.
- Aid in the development and use of analytical forecasting/prediction models that yield process and labor improvement recommendations and improved property-wide operations planning.
- Establish key performance tracking metrics and monitor ongoing performance.
- Aid in the development and execution of productivity and efficiency related analyses.
- Evaluate and improve methods and procedures for the various operational processes throughout the resort.
- Aid in the development and delivery of business cases & presentations with potential audiences including front line stakeholders, business leaders, and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Education
In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Industrial Engineering or equivalent program.
Experience
1+ year educational experience in an accredited Industrial Engineering or equivalent program, prior internship and/or prior industrial engineering experience preferred.
Additional Information
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
