Co-Op (Fall Term)

We are looking for Interns and/or Co-ops for the Fall semester at our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location!

About the role

Curtiss-Wright EMD is a business unit of Curtiss-Wright in Cheswick, PA. We design, manufacture, test, and provide after-market support for the most advanced, proven, and reliable critical function pumps, motors, generators, seals, control rod drive mechanisms, and power conditioning electronics.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Engineering Interns and Co-ops: Work in various departments including Defense Business Segment, Commercial Nuclear, Analytical Engineering, Stress and Thermal Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Electrical Engineering Interns and Co-ops: Work in departments such as Facilities, Engineering Processes and Resources (Product design), and Industrial Engineering.
• Electrical Engineering Interns and Co-ops: Work in departments like Facilities, Engineering Processes and Resources (Product design), and Industrial Engineering.
• Industrial Engineering Interns and Co-ops: Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives, develop project schedules, and manage logistics and inventory control.
• Welding Engineering Intern or Co-op: Focus on welding engineering projects within the company.

Requirements

Must have strong academic performance and relevant coursework in engineering fields. Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Must be able to work full-time and attend classes.

Must have completed at least one year of study in an accredited college/university program. Must be enrolled in a degree program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Must be able to work full-time and attend classes.

Skills

Strong academic performance and relevant coursework in engineering fields. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
