Co-op Engineering (Spring 2027)

About the role

As a FedEx Co-Op, you will work on projects that provide valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment related to your field of study. This co-op rotation is the first of 2–3 additional rotations, working 40 hours per week with an anticipated start date of January 11th. Resumes must include email address, telephone number, college/university name, degree, major, GPA, and intended graduation month and year. Immigration sponsorship is not available for co-op positions; sponsorship may be available for full-time exempt roles depending on the role and federal regulations, but is never guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
• Participate in various networking and/or community service events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Education:

• Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Preferred Degree: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related quantitative discipline.

Skills

• Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.
• Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary for a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Verbal and written communication skills to communicate across business units and all levels of management.
• Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Pay

• Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduates.
• A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship or co-op experience.

Schedule

This position is hybrid in Moon Township, PA. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
