Responsibilities
- Receive a project description during onboarding. Project examples include:
- Defining and documenting process parameters
- Supporting design efforts for product development
- Quantifying and leading actions needed for scrap reduction
- Work independently while remaining open to instruction
- Participate in developmental opportunities such as projects, job rotation, hands-on training, and exposure to Schaeffler's manufacturing and technological processes
- Know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to achieving quality objectives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be pursuing an academic degree
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
- Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
- Assertive approach to solving problems
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods and lift and move thirty pounds
- Must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
