About the role
Delta Crew Operations seeks a Co-Op to help deliver data-driven solutions and automation aimed at continually improving Crew Operation’s performance and decision making. The Co-Op will work directly with the team responsible for tackling a wide range of interesting and challenging tasks that contribute directly to process improvements, cost reductions, and time savings.
Responsibilities
- Identify existing manual processes that can be improved via data automation and design/implement replacements.
- Deliver solutions to help reduce task completion time.
- Utilize project management skills to ensure all tasks are completed on time and on budget.
Requirements
- Enrolled as an undergraduate (sophomore or above) with at least 30 semester hours completed.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA, which must be maintained throughout the co-op.
- Must complete 3 alternating rotations in Atlanta, GA:
- Spring 2027 – 1st rotation
- Fall 2027 – 2nd rotation
- Summer 2028 – 3rd rotation
- Cannot take any courses (online or in-person) while working as a Co-op, which may delay graduation by 1-2 semesters.
- Experience with SQL or database querying tools, including ETL and functional knowledge of data modeling.
- Proficient in a scripting programming language (Python, GitHub, PowerShell preferred).
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies preferred.
- Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of Excel, including VBA.
- Strong organizational, project management, and personal management skills.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI knowledge or background.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Aviation knowledge or background.
