Responsibilities

• Gain first-hand exposure to DevOps and SRE practices.
• Learn how DevOps and SRE work together to enable fast, safe software delivery while maintaining high standards for reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and platform teams to learn and apply best practices for CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, observability, and reliability engineering.
• Observe, monitor, troubleshoot, and automate activities within the Berkley environment to support platform reliability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated student seeking hands-on experience in modern software delivery and platform reliability.
• Interest in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Interest in learning CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, observability, and reliability engineering concepts.
• Interest in gaining exposure to enterprise-scale systems and the intersection of technology, operations, and business within the insurance industry.
• Interest in developing an understanding of end-to-end technology stacks, including networking, storage, operating systems, virtualization, databases, applications, and cloud services.

Education Requirement

• Current student status (internship/co-op role).
