Co-op Application Engineer

About the role

The primary function of the Application Engineer Co-op is to provide technical application support to customers, sales, and other Bussmann division departments. You will be viewed as the technical expert on Bussmann series products and their application.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical application support to customers via phone, chat, and email.
• Actively engage in the training of customers and division personnel.
• Develop and update training materials.
• Act as the technical expert from the factory.
• Provide guidance on NEC, UL, CSA, & IEC requirements for overcurrent and overvoltage protection.

Requirements

• Working toward a B.S. in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Ellisville, MO.

Preferred Qualifications

• Major in Electrical Engineering.
• Two years of coursework completed.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
