CO - Occurring Program Counselor
This position is located in Augusta, Maine and is not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions.
About the Role
This is professional services work involving the co-occurring assessment and treatment of clients at Riverview Psychiatric Center in a hospital setting. You will perform diagnostic assessments, provide clinical input in client/staff consultations, develop co-occurring and substance use treatment plans, review current substance use programs, and instruct students and staff. Work is performed under limited supervision.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in a field related to co-occurring disorders or equivalent in directly related work experience and two (2) years' experience in co-occurring counseling. Education cannot be substituted for the required two years' experience in co-occurring counseling.
- Licensure as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor as issued by the State Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
Preference will be given to those with a clinical license.

Pay
$24.29 - $33.84 per hour, including a $.60 per hour institutional stipend.
