Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical services, including group therapy and individual counseling/therapy, for individuals with co-occurring substance abuse disorders and mental health conditions, integrating mental health treatment with addiction recovery within a 12 Step, abstinence-based model.
• Deliver intensive, milieu-based treatment in a residential 24/7 therapeutic environment, including continuous observation, real-time intervention, and integration of clinical services into daily living activities.
• Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health and substance use treatment services, including assessment, diagnosis, individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and care planning.
• Assume leadership and supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the program manager to ensure coordination of staff and clinical services and continuity of patient care.
• Provide clinical supervision to students and interns to facilitate the development of clinical competency and ethical practice.
• Facilitate communication of patient information to internal and external resources in compliance with Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation policies, federal confidentiality regulations (CFR 42), HIPAA (CFR 45), and mandated reporting requirements.
• Represent Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation services to various audiences to ensure consistent knowledge about services, processes, and participation.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in behavioral health.
• License to independently practice mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services in the state of employment (e.g., MN: LPCC, LMFT, LICSW; must be trained in Rule 31).
• Current CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days; exempt for fully remote work employees). Certification must be from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Satisfactory completion of a state/license-specific background check.
• Individual National Provider Identification (NPI) number.

Pay

USD $81,088.00 - USD $108,126.00 per year.
