Co-Manager

About the role

The Dispensary Co-Manager at Jushi Holdings Inc. is a key position responsible for supporting the Dispensary Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of a retail store. This role involves supervising employees, communicating with and assisting customers, and carrying out directives from the manager and Director of Retail.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a team passionate about medical cannabis and the service they provide
• Lead by example through service, dedication, pace, positivity, and energy
• Mentor, motivate, elevate, and inspire the team through training and performance reviews
• Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations, including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
• Handle employee or customer concerns and complaints effectively and diplomatically
• Work closely with the Dispensary Training Manager to train store staff, review, revise, and implement training materials, deliver training sessions, understand staff needs, and build depth on the bench
• Maintain thoughtful store scheduling to drive revenue, control overhead, and consider individual needs of the dispensary staff
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cannabis, its various forms, chemical composition, effects, dosing, titrations, methods of consumption, and quality metrics
• Avoid errors with all cash handling and assist with weekly, monthly, and yearly business analysis and communication
• Evaluate competition by visiting other stores and gathering information on style, quality, and prices of their merchandise
• Oversee the performance of Customer Consultants and the development, recruitment, training, and retention of employees, including coaching staff for internal promotions and increased responsibilities
• Meet operational expectations and maintain high product quality standards by following and upholding all Beyond/Hello's policies, procedures, and security protocols
• Create brand loyalty, brand consistency, and ensure repeat guest visits
• Manage inventory

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred
• Five years combined dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals
• High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
• Comfortable with basic arithmetic operations and high-volume cash handling

Physical Requirements

• Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks
• Frequently sit and stand
• Sometimes stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 25 pounds
• Sometimes twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl
