About the role

Collaborates with Director, faculty/staff/students to build a community of practice
Coordinates Summer STEM Academy activities and experiential learning
Coordinates Service-Learning opportunities
Assist in the execution of events and programming, including workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and university events
Collaborate with Network with Project Director, faculty, staff and students to develop and enhance undergraduate research and programming
Coaches and/or mentors students using a range of strategies to build efficacy and competency among mentors/mentees
Creates mentorship program of students underrepresented in STEM Fields

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Director, faculty/staff/students to build a community of practice
  • Coodinates Summer STEM Academy activities and experiential learning
  • Coodinates Service-Learning opportunities
  • Assist in the execution of events and programming, including workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and university events

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm to work with faculty/staff/industry leaders/peers
  • Actively involved in current trends in research development
  • Strong Interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of STEM fields and licensing requirements

Working Conditions

  • On Campus, flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, may be required to execute the position’s role
