CNY Planning & Analytics Manager - Hybrid
Summary of Job
Support the Director, Client Planning & Analytics in delivering high-quality reporting, insights, and strategic planning for EmblemHealth’s largest and most complex account: the City of New York.
Responsibilities
- Develop, build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure data integrity and consistency across sources.
- Prepare performance summaries and visualizations for monthly City of NY meetings; support Director in client-facing presentations.
- Support the Director in being an analytical advisor to CNY AVPs, ensuring alignment between data insights and business objectives across product strategy, client engagement, and partnership governance.
- Translate complex data into clear recommendations for AVPs, supporting portfolio planning, performance improvement, and monthly City of New York meetings.
- Collaborate with Finance, Network, and Medical Management to gather data inputs and validate accuracy.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; provide recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, data science, or related field (Required)
- 5 – 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, reporting, or strategy (Required)
- Proficiency in Power BI/Tableau, and SQL or similar tools (Required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights (Required)
- Proficiency with MS Office - Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc. (Required)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audiences (Required)
- Experience supporting client-facing deliverables and presentations (Preferred)
- Familiarity with healthcare payer operations and public sector accounts (Preferred)
- Enthusiasm for engaging with AI solutions (e.g., Co-Pilot) to enhance and expedite all deliverables (Required)
