Frattallone's Hardware is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Parts Department Associate to support our Service and Parts Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email with parts inquiries and orders.
• Provide estimates for service and parts and follow up with customers regarding repairs and order status.
• Enter and maintain service orders, parts orders, and customer information accurately.
• Research and locate parts to help customers find exactly what they need.
• Process customer transactions and provide exceptional customer service at the parts counter.
• Receive, check in, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments.
• Communicate with other store locations and departments regarding parts availability and customer needs.
• Aid with equipment and machine intake as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers.
• Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and internet-based systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Parts sales, hardware, equipment, or small engine experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of parts, equipment, or small engines is beneficial.
