About the role

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Direct customers to appropriate products based on their needs.
• Accept and respond to telephone inquiries politely.
• Order and special order products using CNRG point-of-sale systems.
• Stock shelves and perform cycle counting of inventory.
• Face and front product at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Submit instances of pricing issues or product problems to the CNRG Resource Center.
• Participate in store safety meetings and follow company safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Strong math, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Problem-solving ability and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of lumber, building materials, or general hardware merchandise.
• Able to lift and load up to 50 lbs. for various amounts of time.
• Able to climb ladders and maneuver safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hourly position (non-exempt from overtime).
