CNRG Analyst Accounting

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Manage and reconcile store-related accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness across multiple locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closings, including reviewing financial transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed account schedules and financial reports for management review.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations and purchasing, to optimize financial processes and reporting.
• Cook up and complete the year-end audit and prepare necessary documentation for external auditors.
• Aid in ad-hoc financial projects as needed and provide support to the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on retail or multi-location businesses.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end closing processes.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, complex formulas) and experience working with major accounting software (Oracle preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members across the company.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
