Responsibilities
- Deliver highly technical training in a military training environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises, and other delivery methods.
- Assist with developing CO training curriculum (e.g., lecture content, student/instructor guides, tests, exercises, simulations).
Requirements
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Provide classroom instruction consistent with the teaching approach and requirements specified in the Program of Instruction.
- Congduct hands-on exercises in a virtual laboratory environment, study hall periods, and tutoring/remedial instruction for up to twenty students per class.
- Clearly convey technical concepts during instruction.
- Evaluate students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to accurately determine their proficiency in each topic area.
- Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
- Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes.
- Possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level required.
Qualifications
- Experience in adult learning with an emphasis on providing instruction to large classes.
- US Military instructor certification or designation is highly desirable (e.g., teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, adjunct faculty certification).
- Applicants should have intermediate-level knowledge/experience in one or more of the following areas: Discrete Structures and Logic Programming Fundamentals/Scripting Computer Organization and Architecture Operating Systems (Windows/UNIX/Linux/Mobile) Networking (Concepts and Protocols, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Level) Protocol Analysis Wireless and Mobile Technologies (Internet of Things) Target Research/SIGINT Analysis Active Exploitation (Offensive Cyberspace Operations) Defensive Cyberspace Operations (Network Defense) Forensics Methodologies and Malware Analysis.
