CNO Analyst/Engineer

About the role

Warfare Systems (WS), a division of HII Mission Technologies, seeks a senior level CNO Analyst/Engineer to support National Defense efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute software test plans
• Collect on-net signatures for network security devices
• Identify unique signatures for network security devices
• Provide written reports on evaluation results
• Replicate real-world network and system scenarios in a lab environment
• Demonstrate technical writing skills to accurately describe lab design, tool usages, and testing procedures

Requirements

• Experience with configuration management, IP management, and troubleshooting
• Minimum of 9 years relevant experience or 13 years without BSSix years’ experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering
• Three years’ experience with system administration (Windows, Linux, and Solaris)
• Three years of experience with network protocols, network routing devices, computer security devices, security architecture, methodologies, and tools
• TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Preferred Requirements

• Certifications in MCSE, RHCE, CEH, CCNA, or CISSP preferred

Physical Requirements

• May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment
• Capable of climbing ladders
• Tolerates confined spaces and extreme temperature variances

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000.00 - $170,000.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Three years of experience with system administration (Windows, Linux, and Solaris)
• Three years of experience with network protocols, network routing devices, computer security devices, security architecture, methodologies, and tools
• TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
